I also stood in front of oversized stuff which was fun seeing how I don't usually do much of that.

Meeting my hero was just one of the highlights of my trip.

The only thing stopping me from importing Ear Vacuum Cleaner 3 from Japan is that it might suck out my ear drums along with my month old wax.

We'll have to settle for second best because In-N-Out Burger is too far off the strip. With a name like Fat Burger, it's a hard meal to resist. It will certainly make for a classy, Zagat approved dining experience before "O".

Pepsi's iTunes Free Song Giveaway

It's not like I don't have other ways I get songs for free (without having to purchase beverages), but its nice to see that this still works. You might look like a cheap looser at the 7-Eleven, but you'll walk out a winner.

My inner geek/child can't get over the fact that I can play NES/Famicom roms on my Gameboy Adanced SP with this $25 "good and cool device". GBA Movie Player V2 is available at Lik-Sang.

Tetris Tower 3D

I find myself drawn to physical takes on video games. Unlike Pongmechanick, Tetris Tower 3D is actually for sale. There's a TV commercial, but to nothing on Radica's website indicating where the product is available.

Edit: Target has it for 24.89.

While in Vegas, it's probably wise to avoid this show and most things magic. He has to be at least a little embarrassed about this photo. It kind of reminds me of the ever so obliviously obnoxious GOB on Arrested Development.

I like.

Someday, Dell's UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel will be mine (provided that the yet to be published professional reviews are favorable and the price drops).

David Sedaris: writer, humourist, retired elf

I know that it's pretty late to be posting anything Christmas related seeing as stores are already slashing prices on items related to Santa and the sort, but listen to David Sedaris' dairy of when he worked at Macy's as an elf in the early nineties for a good laugh.

It's alive!

Holy frigging crap! I fixed my keyboard. I thought that I'd never type on the thing again. Four months after it stopped working, it starts acting how it should again. All it took was installing the drivers. I blamed Logitech when the real problem was my refusal to install their software. I'll never doubt them again. Their Cordless MX Duo is a superior product.

Here's to movies I actually want to see. I wish they made more of them.

Sideways is opening in my vicinity! I hope its as good as the reviews its been getting.

Hey! Spring of Trivia

Did you know that Chinese infants wear crotchless and bottomless pants instead of diapers? I didn't, but thanks to Spike TV's latest Japanese import Hey! Spring of Trivia I do now. "Knowing is half the battle!"

Flip Flap: Because flip flops will soon be yesterday's news.

Flip Flap from the makers of Hidamari No Tami are pretty neat trinkets. These objects of unnecessary cool are available for purchase at Audio Cubes.

Robots play Nintendo too.

Mankind took another step towards creating robots that will outsmart and eventually destroy us by creating one from legos that can beat the first level of the original Super Mario Bros. The only way to prevent our terminator-esque downfall is to place a small child near it as he would surely smash it to pieces like anything else built with legos.
